The Dream Doctor Project

Members of The Dream Doctors Project doing their rounds at an Israeli hospital

An Israeli organisation called 'The Dream Doctor Project' is revolutionising the world of paediatric medicine. They visit hospital bound patients and perform for them whilst doctors carry out vital procedures on reluctant children.

They also work with the IDF and go to places with them, for example - where there has been an earthquake and help with the wounded children and their families while the soldiers and doctors go in and help.

They recently came to the UK to do a fund-raising concert and are now training clowns in hospitals here to replicate the Israeli model.

We sent Kate Fulton along to meet with one Dush (aka. David Barashi) one of the medical clowns. David told Kate all about their amazing work. If you would like to find out more about the project then you can click here to visit their website.
