The first two incidents encouraged people in their droves to help, really encompassing that sense of community spirit. One of those who helped organise an aid-relief effort was Sara Benbassat. Sara told us how the Jewish community has rallied round to donate clothing, bedding, homeware and more to help victims of the fire.

The initial collection was aimed at the victims of the Golders Green fire, that Facebook page can be found here but Sara told us how they hope to donate anything that's left to those affected by the fire on Latimer Road.

Various Synagogues have responded to the aid effort for Latimer Road but Holland Park S&P Sephardi Synagogue's (the shul nearest to Grenfell Tower) can be found here

The relief effort for Golders Green has finished for now but you can listen again to the interview by clicking on this link here
