Sam is 13 years old and together with 9-year-old Romilly was competing in the National gymnastics pairs finals in Stoke last weekend.

Having qualified to represent the London region, they competed against the other regions in the UK. He competed against 110 other finalists from their respective regions around Great Britain, and he won gold! So Sam is now British Gymnastics Champion 2017 (grade 3 mixed pair).
