David Ward

Following politician David Ward's (right) dismissal by Tim Farron (left) from The Liberal Democrats, we get reaction from Lib Dem candidate for Harrow East, Adam Bernard.
We also hear what happened when we asked David Ward outright if he was prepared to apologies for comments he made in the past about Israel and the Palestinians.
The former MP, who has been accused of making anti-Semitic remarks on many occasions, has been barred by the Liberal Democrats from running for his old seat in Bradford East in the General Election.
The dramatic move came just hours after a high-profile backlash from the Prime Minister, the Jewish Community and senior figures within the Lib Dems. One of Mr Ward’s comments nearly 4 years ago was to ask ”how long can the apartheid State of Israel last?”
